A Visit with Dr. Valerie Mason-John

The Seattle Black Feminist Library is hosting a visit with Dr. Valerie Mason-John. Dr. Mason-John is a Black British feminist, lesbian, anti-bullying activist, Life Coach, performer, and Buddhist teacher, who currently resides in Canada. She is author of several books, with varying topics on sexuality in Britain, spirituality, and others, and will be convening with the S/BFL, dialoguing and answering questions regarding all things Black British feminism, Buddhism and more. This event is FREE and open to the public!

She's With Me is the brain child of three feminists who got tired of emailing each other every time they caught wind of a womanist event, so they created a separate space to house their feminist calendar. The benefits would be twofold: fewer emails cluttering up their inboxes, and more people learning about Seattle's growing feminist community.
