Many women have experienced sexism in the workplace, be it from a “man-terrupter” speaking over them in meetings or a “him-itator” appropriating their ideas. Award-winning journalist Jessica Bennett offers a guide to women seeking to navigate and overcome this pervasive problem. With a blend of personal examples, field research, and playful exercises, Bennett addresses the overt sexism that women face in the workplace as well as their own self-sabotaging behaviors. By examining the system that perpetuates this culture, she hopes to help women create space to work together and fight back.
