At this point it is unfortunately old news that the Right has been doing everything possible to severely limit access and funding for reproductive support, from enacting draconian anti-abortion legislation to basically accusing Planned Parenthood of genocide. One well-tested (and scientifically proven!) method for handling the complex emotions (FIREY RAGE) that might arise in response to this relentless attack on women is to stuff your mouth (and maybe your ears, so you can’t hear the right-wing crazy talk) with chocolate and get drunk. Even better is to do so while supporting one of the staunchest reproductive rights organizations in the nation, NARAL, in the company of a bunch of other drunk, chocolate-high feminists. So grab your friends for a lively evening of music, chocolate, wine and cocktails and head to this year’s Chocolate for Choice NARAL fundraiser.
All proceeds will help ensure that Washington State continues to lead the way in the pro-choice movement.
