A Feminist Survival Guide to Seattle
Seattle Black Feminists is currently organizing a half-day retreat for Black women. This is happening on Saturday, Augusts 1, 2015 from 10am-3pm, and we will provide lunch and will have a vegan option. Some workshops will be centered around connecting and communicating with other Black women, sacred togetherness, engaging the famous Black feminist trope ‘lift as we climb’ and working to understand what exactly does this mean and in what context does it apply?, and the dynamics of Black feminism in Seattle.
Although the confirmed schedule of workshops are still emerging, tickets are available. This is because space is limited and if you’re like me (who has already bought a ticket and given a donation), then you want to make sure you don’t miss out.
