A Feminist Survival Guide to Seattle
When: Friday, January 2nd at 7PM
Where: Seattle Attic, 114 Alaskan Way S, Suite 200
December’s book for the Attic book club is Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett.
BOOK SUMMARY: When Tiffany Aching sets out to become a witch, she faces ominous foes and gains unexpected allies. As she confronts the Queen of Fairies and battles an ancient, bodiless evil, she is aided (and most ably abetted) by the six-inch-high, fightin’, stealin’, drinkin’ Wee Free Men.
Attic Reads is intended to be a fairly relaxed chance to discuss books through a feminist lens, featuring a mix of newer works of fiction and non-fiction and parts of older feminist “canon” as well as some lighter YA featuring female characters and authors.
