Reel Grrls: Animation for Allies

Cost: Program Fee Tiers:
•Tier I: $10 (Full Scholarship)
•Tier II: $55-$95 (30-50% of Program Cost)
•Tier III: $150 (75% of Program Cost)
•Tier IV: $200 (100% of Program Cost)

Participants in this one-day workshop will work together in small teams to create stop-motion animations using paper, clay, toys and other objects. Animation for Allies is an opportunity for female, transgender, and gender nonconforming youth to learn alongside their peer & adult allies of all genders! No previous video production or animation experience required. We welcome participants as young as 5 years old for this workshop. All participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or adult friend, who must also register for camp.

She's With Me is the brain child of three feminists who got tired of emailing each other every time they caught wind of a womanist event, so they created a separate space to house their feminist calendar. The benefits would be twofold: fewer emails cluttering up their inboxes, and more people learning about Seattle's growing feminist community.
