An award-winning documentary about an epic civil rights battle in Tucson high schools. The 70-minute film shows committed students, parents and teachers mobilizing to save Mexican American Studies from a legislative ban on “ethnically divisive” classes and books. Hosted by Radical Women.

Where: New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Ave. S., Seattle

Cost: Door donation $2.00. Dinner served at 6:30 pm for $8.50 donation.

She's With Me is the brain child of three feminists who got tired of emailing each other every time they caught wind of a womanist event, so they created a separate space to house their feminist calendar. The benefits would be twofold: fewer emails cluttering up their inboxes, and more people learning about Seattle's growing feminist community.
